STORIES

Under the creative direction of Lacey Schwartz Delgado, LACEY creates award-winning, highly-rated and bestselling stories in audio, visual, digital and print format.

Our projects have screened and aired in over 40 countries and been translated into over 20 languages. Our content can be found in the library collections of institutions of higher education and public libraries around the United States, and is streaming on top digital platforms worldwide, including Netflix, iTunes, and Amazon Prime, as well as on the sites of major publications, including The Atlantic and Essence Magazine.

We use an interdisciplinary approach to create compelling fiction and nonfiction stories that speak to larger issues, specifically exploring questions of identity, family, and community, confront hard truths, and show audiences that difficult conversations can be transformative. These stories demonstrate the power of process and challenge audiences to engage with themselves and each other and the world through the lens of vulnerability and transparency. The programs we do allow our audience to reflect on their own experience.are extensions of these stories power  I am a storyteller at heart, and I want the audience for my projects to end up thinking as much about their own experience of the world as about mine.

We turns research to story, then story into action to rewrite the normative narrative. One of the tenets of LACEY’s work is the belief that storytelling is the one of the most powerful tools we can use to reclaim our sense of self, and bridge societal divides.
